VFX Editor

Location: Remote from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India; up to 20 hours per week, with availability from 9am–6pm PST.

Changing Lives Productions is the video production company of hirify.global, creating motivational short-form videos about life, business, and relationships for social media.

What you will do

• Create custom setups, templates, and a wide range of realistic visual effects, including smoke, fire, and water.
• Composite effects seamlessly into live-action plates.
• Develop creative solutions for technically challenging VFX requests.
• Clean up footage, remove unwanted objects, and create screen replacements.
• Collaborate with editors, directors, shooters, and other production staff to meet deadlines and improve workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a VFX artist in a post-production environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating advanced and realistic VFX.
• High-level experience with After Effects and Mocha AE.
• Strong knowledge of tracking and screen replacements using Mocha and After Effects.
• Excellent understanding of digital formats and post-production workflows.
• Ability to work quickly and consistently across multiple projects without sacrificing quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Autodesk 3ds Max.
