TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (React Native): Developing a UX Toolkit for web and native platforms to enhance cardholder experiences with an accent on cross-platform SDKs and reusable components. Location: Must be based in the provinces of Ontario or British Columbia, Canada (preferably Greater Toronto Area or Metro Vancouver)
Salary: $116,000 - $145,000 CAD

What you will do
- Lead the development of React Native-based SDKs and applications, ensuring high performance and seamless cross-platform integration.
- Architect and implement reusable UI components and design systems to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Optimize mobile application performance using techniques like lazy loading and efficient rendering strategies.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to develop innovative cardholder experiences.
- Define technical roadmaps, design documents, and system architecture for high-quality UI.
- Implement modern engineering practices, including automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web and mobile development with a focus on React Native.
- Strong proficiency in React Navigation, Expo, and native module development (Swift/Kotlin/Objective-C/Java).
- Deep understanding of React.js and state management frameworks (Redux, Context API).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL into mobile and web applications.
- Knowledge of mobile performance profiling, memory management, and UI rendering optimizations.
- Must be located in Ontario or British Columbia, Canada.
Nice to have
- Experience with Swift and/or Kotlin for deeper native integrations.
- Domain experience in Payments or Fintech industries.
- Familiarity with App Store and Google Play Store deployment and release management.
- Experience using TypeScript for enhanced maintainability.
