is hiring for an audio and audiovisual quality control role supporting production and post-production operations.
What you will do
- Evaluate recording quality, dubbed lines, title treatments, songs, dialogue continuity, character voice matching, and overall mix quality.
- Check audio synchronization, timecode, loudness, true peak levels, dial norm, delivery formats, labeling, and M&E quality.
- Complete QC reports according to México standards and identify media sections requiring review or correction.
- Provide detailed findings to production and post-production teams, including recording engineers, editors, and mixing engineers.
- Communicate project status, manage schedules, and support delivery against critical production deadlines.
- Provide administrative support and perform recording, editing, or mixing duties when required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in sound engineering, including recording, editing, and/or mixing.
- Excellent working knowledge of ADR recording, editing, quality control, mixing, dubbing, localization, and post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in Avid Pro Tools and audio mixing equipment, including consoles, controllers, and peripheral devices.
- Strong understanding of sample rates, bit depth, audio speed, digital and video synchronization, timecode, and video codecs.
- Excellent hearing, analytical judgment, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with teams, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work flexible hours when required.
Nice to have
- Degree in Audio Post-Production, Sound Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional understanding of dubbing, localization, and post-production processes.
