What you will do

• Build and operate a self-service infrastructure platform where security and efficiency are the defaults.
• Develop golden paths for shipping software using unified CI/CD pipelines, GitOps with ArgoCD, and IaC module catalogs.
• Generalize agent isolation patterns into reusable platform primitives, including sandboxed runtimes and workload identity.
• Implement a validation platform featuring ephemeral PR environments and automated quality gates for security and performance.
• Establish reliability and observability controls using DORA metrics and operational dashboards.
• Own the on-call process for owned surfaces, converting recurring toil into automation and runbooks.

Requirements

• Must be based in Latin America (LATAM).
• Senior-level experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering operating production infrastructure at scale.
• Active use of AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) within infrastructure workflows.
• Deep expertise in AWS (IAM, VPC, ECR, S3, Lambda, RDS/Aurora) and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong experience with Terraform and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Atlantis).
• Proficiency in GitHub Actions, focusing on caching, parallelism, and pipeline observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with workload/service identity (SPIFFE/SPIRE, OIDC) and policy-as-code.
• Knowledge of secrets management (Vault) and internal developer portals like Backstage.
• Experience implementing cost attribution, budgeting, and rightsizing within a platform.
