Investment Analyst (Software)

TL;DR

Investment Analyst (Software): Conducting commercial and financial due diligence for software company acquisitions with an accent on market research and deal execution. Focus on analyzing financial data, identifying targets, and coordinating cross-functional deal closing processes.

Location: Remote. Must be based in Latvia, Serbia, Turkey, Egypt, Georgia, or Moldova. Availability to work half of each day in alignment with North American business hours is required.

What you will do

• Conduct detailed analysis of commercial and financial data for acquisition targets.
• Perform market research to identify industry trends and new software acquisition opportunities.
• Evaluate target fit and move identified opportunities through the deal cycle.
• Support the M&A team with ad hoc tasks necessary for closing live deals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding data requests and project execution.

Requirements

• Up to 5 years of experience in transaction advisory, buy-side due diligence, public accounting, or corporate finance within the software/SaaS sector.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with high attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively with C-level executives.

Nice to have

• CPA or CFA track.
