What you will do

• Define and maintain enterprise network architecture strategy, standards, reference architectures, and target-state roadmaps.
• Develop modular network architecture patterns for campus, WAN, cloud, hybrid, data center, SASE, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Review and approve network design submissions from MSPs, vendors, integrators, and internal teams.
• Translate business and security requirements into Architecture Requirements Documents (ARDs) and solution designs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted operations, AIOps, and cloud networking solutions.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams on architecture principles and technology strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise networking, infrastructure engineering, or network architecture experience.
• 5+ years in senior, lead, or principal enterprise architecture roles.
• Expertise in TCP/IP fundamentals, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
• Deep understanding of network security architecture, SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience creating and maintaining enterprise architecture documentation and standards.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and work with MSPs and external partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with Fortinet and Cisco (including Meraki) network solutions.
• Proficiency in network automation and programmability (Ansible, Terraform, APIs, IaC, NetDevOps).
• Experience with cloud networking across Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
• Knowledge of TOGAF enterprise architecture framework and ITIL-based operational models.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.
