Machine Learning Engineer (Marketplace Pricing)

Location: Onsite in Mountain View or San Francisco, California

Salary: $175,000–$215,000 USD

What you will do

• Implement and scale core dynamic pricing engines to drive revenue across operating markets.
• Develop and deploy sophisticated ML models and optimization algorithms for real-time pricing.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for pricing experimentation, monitoring, and analysis.
• Partner with product data scientists to productionize innovative pricing solutions.
• Ensure service competitiveness and fleet profitability through data-driven decision systems.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in backend programming.
• Experience building backend distributed systems.
• Experience developing machine learning or optimization infrastructure and pipelines.
• Proven track record of deploying ML or optimization models into production environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++.
• MS in Computer Science.
• Experience developing low-latency, large-scale, user-facing distributed systems.
• Prior experience in ride-hailing or marketplace companies.
