Salary: $173,000–$242,500 total cash range, with potential pay up to $277,000 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Manage applied scientists delivering scalable machine learning and data science solutions for pricing and monetization.
• Architect solutions, review models, and provide technical guidance with engineering rigor.
• Translate business problems into practical, digestible solutions and align stakeholders on goals and roadmaps.
• Set the team vision, design the roadmap, and manage execution.
• Hire, mentor, and grow the applied science team.
• Collaborate with applied science, analytics, engineering, strategy, product, and operations teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related industry experience.
• 4+ years of management experience developing machine learning models at scale from inception to business impact.
• Ability to create and drive impactful technical roadmaps and lead seamless execution.
• Passion for management and creating career-growth opportunities for team members.
• Clear and effective communication with cross-functional partners across varying technical levels.
• Proficiency in Python, R, Scala, or a similar tool.
• Experience with the big data ecosystem, including Hadoop or Spark.

Nice to have

• PhD, MS, or BS in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or Economics, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working with pricing models.
• Experience with large-scale marketplace experiment design and analysis.
• Understanding of modern machine learning and data science techniques and their mathematical foundations.
