What you will do

• Design and evolve end-to-end system architectures balancing business goals, security, and performance.
• Translate high-level business needs into clear architectural designs, proofs of concept, and integration patterns.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Engineering Managers and provide technical governance through design reviews.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to ensure architectural alignment with platform capabilities and CI/CD pipelines.
• Challenge assumptions and identify implicit requirements to mitigate long-term technical risk.
• Support engineering teams in resolving complex design and integration challenges.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years in architecture or system design.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong background in modern backend (.NET, microservices) and frontend (React, TypeScript) architectures.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to design complex, distributed, and scalable systems.
• Experience working in distributed or remote teams using Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance and security testing tools.
• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), and SRE practices.
• Experience working in global, multi-cultural organizations.
