What you will do
- Design, execute, and interpret laboratory experiments addressing customer challenges in grain processing and fermentation.
- Simulate industrial starch processing and bioethanol production to evaluate enzyme performance.
- Perform HPLC and other analytical testing, analyze data, and generate actionable results.
- Develop technical recommendations to improve fermentation yields, process efficiency, and product performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Technical Service, Marketing, and R&D on customer solutions and product development.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations, support customer visits and plant trials, and improve laboratory methods and application technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on laboratory experience in fermentation, biotechnology, food processing, enzyme applications, or industrial processes.
- Experience with HPLC and other analytical laboratory techniques.
- Knowledge of biochemistry, fermentation processes, and industrial enzyme applications.
- Strong experimental analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are required.
Nice to have
- Experience in grain processing, starch conversion, brewing, bioethanol, or related industrial fermentation industries.
- Familiarity with process modeling tools and data-driven process optimization.
- Experience supporting customer projects, plant trials, or technical service activities.
