What you will do

• Analyze high-dimensional sensor and feature datasets using techniques like UMAP, t-SNE, and PCA.
• Diagnose dataset shifts, domain drift, and representation collapse to trace model errors.
• Perform data mining on large field datasets to extract actionable insights and patterns.
• Develop approaches for improving weakly labeled or unlabeled data through clustering and pseudo-labeling.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data-centric improvements into ML pipelines.
• Translate exploratory findings into clear recommendations for data filtering and collection.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with machine learning datasets.
• Strong Python skills including NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, and seaborn.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, model evaluation, and diagnostics.
• Experience supporting both traditional machine learning and deep learning projects.
• Experience with time-series, sensor, image, or video data.

Nice to have

• Experience with sensor data such as radar, magnetic, environmental, 3D, or IoT datasets.
• Familiarity with scikit-learn preprocessing workflows.
• Experience handling imbalanced datasets, noisy labels, and data drift.
• Knowledge of model interpretability, feature importance, and embedding analysis.
• Familiarity with MLflow, Weights & Biases, or DVC.
