Senior Embedded Linux Developer (IoT)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Vienna, Austria (Hybrid)

Salary: Minimum €3,843/month (competitive package offered based on experience)

What you will do

• Design and implement core software architecture for next-generation embedded systems.
• Develop high-quality embedded Linux user space application code.
• Create clean, scalable, and reliable designs.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• Set architectural standards and mentor team members on technical decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in embedded Linux software development.
• Proficiency with Rust or C++.
• Strong understanding of multimedia formats (MP4, H.264) and network protocols (HTTP, RTSP, RTP).
• Experience with hardware interfaces (USB, Wi-Fi, BLE).
• Proven track record of building robust embedded architectures.

Nice to have

• Background in streaming or real-time communication systems.
• Familiarity with Agile or iterative development approaches.
