Senior Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and maintain production-grade data pipelines using AWS Redshift, S3, and MWAA/Airflow.
• Build and support a data warehouse, implementing Python solutions to process structured and unstructured data.
• Operationalize data for AI use cases, including the development of feature pipelines and model inputs.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools for code generation and validation to increase productivity.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Contribute to data standards, documentation, and reusable frameworks to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Python scripting.
• 3+ years of experience with the AWS ecosystem (Redshift, EMR, S3, MWAA).
• 5 years of experience working with Agile development methods.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• BS degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be based in Heredia, Costa Rica.
