TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/Fintech): Designing and operating reliable, scalable infrastructure for a high-availability, transaction-heavy fintech platform with an accent on infrastructure automation, observability, and production stability. Focus on troubleshooting incidents, tuning performance, improving SLOs and SLIs, and preventing recurrence through root cause analysis and resilient platform practices.

Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid with onsite attendance 4 times per month in Makati City. Shift options are 5:00 AM–2:00 PM or 6:00 AM–3:00 PM Manila time, with workdays either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday.

What you will do

Design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure.
Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot production issues, tune performance, and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability.
Participate in on-call rotations, production support, incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident actions.
Own assigned services, tools, and reliability initiatives while implementing fixes to prevent recurrence.
Support SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs; collaborate with SREs, developers, and security teams to improve tooling, documentation, and operational processes.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Experience with Kafka, including AWS MSK or Confluent, and CI/CD tools.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, ELK, or Splunk.
Python or Bash scripting experience.
Solid SQL skills and workload analysis experience.
Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations.
Understanding of distributed systems, networking, and security.

Nice to have

Experience in 24/7 or high-transaction production environments.
Cloud or platform-related certifications.
Fintech or regulated systems exposure.
