What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development of ML and GenAI solutions to transform operational journeys.
• Manage the full lifecycle from problem framing and data exploration to production deployment.
• Set and uphold high technical standards across multiple AI initiatives to ensure scalability and consistency.
• Mentor other data scientists and drive a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers and business leaders to deliver AI-driven products that create tangible business value.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data science or applied machine learning with a track record of delivering business impact.
• Strong proficiency in Python and knowledge of coding best practices.
• Practical experience building ML models using frameworks like scikit-learn and XGBoost.
• Experience leveraging GenAI LLMs via APIs such as OpenAI GPT or Gemini.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Rome, Italy.
