What you will do
- Operate and optimize large-scale cell culture manufacturing processes from cell thaw through to harvest.
- Apply biochemical principles to assess cell growth and metabolism to identify and resolve process deviations.
- Analyze and record production data to ensure product quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and Quality teams to support process optimization and scale-up activities.
- Maintain accurate batch records and technical documentation in accordance with quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Biochemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in biotechnology, bioprocessing, fermentation, food manufacturing, or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong knowledge of biochemistry, cell biology, and biological production processes.
- Proficiency in analyzing scientific or production data to improve performance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be based in or be able to relocate to Sydney, Australia.

- Experience working within quality systems such as GMP, HACCP, or ISO standards.
