What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex Big-Data Cloud software systems based on documented requirements.
• Contribute to all stages of back-end processing, specifically in analyzing and indexing.
• Implement Java applications using the Hadoop ecosystem and Distributed Computing.
• Design and test Cloud Information Retrieval systems and implement MapReduce analytics.
• Oversee software development tasks and ensure adherence to design requirements and process standards.
• Provide input on system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and the use of COTS/GOTS.

Requirements

• Current active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• 8 years of software engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• 2 years of experience utilizing Big-Data Cloud technologies and/or Distributed Computing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 additional years of relevant experience).
• Expertise in Java and Object Oriented Design.
