What you will do

• Analyze and define data transformation requirements for enterprise production and analytics environments.
• Create and design ETL architecture to illustrate data movement across legacy and new AWS analytics platforms.
• Lead analytics and data science ETL projects while managing and mentoring a technical team.
• Evaluate organizational technology needs and create proofs-of-concept for new implementations.
• Design and develop database code software to support AI model deployment and analytics solutions.
• Recommend technical enhancements and improvements to existing data infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in database architecture or data warehousing.
• 10 years of experience with SQL and relational technologies like Redshift, Hive, or SparkSQL.
• 8 years of experience with Python, Pandas, and XML/JSON parsing.
• 5 years of experience with AWS technologies (Redshift, Glue, DynamoDB, S3) and streaming platforms (Spark Streaming, Flink).
• 2 years of experience implementing messaging systems like Amazon Kinesis or Apache Kafka.
