What you will do

• Design level layouts and block out simplified geometry to create engaging environments.
• Develop level composition and architectural concepts in collaboration with the art department.
• Create scenarios, place game objects, and implement level progression using game editor tools.
• Produce and maintain documentation establishing core level concepts.
• Drive cross-discipline communication and collaboration to ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate extensive playtesting, reviews, and iteration processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience in Level Design for games.
• Experience blocking out environments using 3D software packages (Maya, Unreal Editor, etc.).
• Proficiency with game editors (Unreal Editor) and scripting languages such as C#, Lua, Python, or Visual Scripting.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Deep understanding of the single-player gaming landscape and current industry trends.
