What you will do

• Architect and operate highly available, multi-region Kubernetes-based data platforms.
• Scale infrastructure and optimize deployment pipelines using tools like Argo CD and GitHub Actions.
• Strengthen security posture and implement cloud-native security best practices.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to ensure 99.99% uptime.
• Develop full-stack observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate on capacity planning and performance tuning for distributed environments.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or asylee) due to export control regulations.
• 7+ years of experience in Platform or Infrastructure Engineering for distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster design and production operations.
• Proven experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Helm.
• Strong background in CI/CD systems and automated environment provisioning.
• Experience with data-intensive workloads (Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or Flink).

Nice to have

• Experience working in regulated environments (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
• Background in building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.
