What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and evolve production mobile applications using Flutter and Dart across iOS and Android through the full lifecycle (design, build, deploy, test, release, support).
• Build reusable, maintainable mobile codebases using scalable architecture patterns (layered features, state management, routing, deep linking, reusable UI components, code generation workflows).
• Integrate backend services and APIs into mobile apps, especially GraphQL and Backend-for-Frontend patterns, including authentication, storage, analytics, feature flags, observability, crash reporting, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Use agent-first AI coding environments (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate planning, implementation, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation while validating AI-assisted code before production.
• Collaborate with UI/UX to implement responsive interfaces from wireframes/Figma, including complex experiences like camera/scanning flows, charts, and design-system screens.
• Troubleshoot performance, stability, rendering, networking, native platform behavior, build configuration, and release workflows; support iOS/Android build, signing, and store delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience with a proven track record shipping production mobile applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart, including mobile architecture, asynchronous programming, app lifecycle, UI architecture, and performance optimization.
• Experience building and releasing iOS and Android applications (mobile web experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with agent-first development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and the ability to use AI effectively while owning code quality, correctness, testing, security, and production readiness.
• Experience with state management, routing, deep linking, and scalable architecture patterns (e.g., Riverpod, BLoC, go_router, layered architecture).
• Experience integrating mobile apps with backend APIs, especially GraphQL (queries, mutations, fragments, pagination, caching) and Backend-for-Frontend patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience with Flutter code generation workflows (e.g., freezed, json_serializable, build_runner).
• Familiarity with analytics, observability, crash reporting, feature flags, offline support, internationalization/localization, accessibility, and responsive UI.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js serverless functions and supporting backend technologies (Hasura, Nhost, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, search, LLMs, embeddings).
• Startup experience.
