What you will do

• Design and maintain a Python-based platform for automated testing across engineering and mass production builds.
• Architect scalable software frameworks that integrate with automated test equipment and embedded devices.
• Develop and manage cloud-based services in AWS to support manufacturing data collection and operational monitoring.
• Build internal APIs and tooling to enhance the reliability and usability of the manufacturing software ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Hardware, Firmware, and Quality Engineering.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-quality applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python development and debugging.
• Experience with Linux administration and Windows development environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure within AWS.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of modern development practices including CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating software with hardware, embedded systems, or instrumentation.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining high quality standards.
