Job Description
Conduit – The Onchain Compute Company
At Conduit, we’re building the rollup-native cloud platform to scale Ethereum. Crypto builders have been limited by a lack of onchain compute — without the ability to process a high volume of transactions quickly and affordably, onchain apps and ecosystems fail to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Rollups are the solution to this problem, much like how servers scale compute in web2, rollups can scale onchain compute in web3. However, developing and operating your own rollup is both challenging and time-consuming. That’s where Conduit steps in.
As the rollup-native cloud platform, Conduit merges web2 engineering best practices with web3 rollup technology to facilitate the creation and maintenance of personalized chains. By simplifying infrastructure and making onchain compute plentiful, akin to what AWS and GCP did for web2, we aim to spur the next wave of innovation in the crypto ecosystem.
The Conduit platform has experienced substantial growth since its inception in 2023. We manage the largest production chains, including Proof of Play, Zora, Aevo, and more. This expansion amounts to over 200 chains across mainnet and testnet with over $1B in total-value-locked (TVL). We operate at the cutting edge of crypto, evolving with our customers and partners, while pushing boundaries in blockchain scalability and modularity.

About The Role
Conduit’s backend team develops the systems powering the Conduit Platform. You will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the next generation of services for the Conduit Platform. Your tasks entail extending and enhancing open-source software as well as crafting in-house solutions.
Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and evolve the core Conduit Platform
• Deliver scalable and robust software solutions in a DevOps environment
• Create and enhance tooling and processes to boost maintainability and reliability
• Participate in an on-call rotation Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in building and supporting production systems
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and security best practices
• Experience in converting customer, product, and business requirements into scalable solutions
• Proficiency in debugging complex issues across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks
• Effective collaboration with other engineers to tackle complex technical problems (mentoring, peer-reviews, design reviews, etc.) We think you’ll find this work really exciting if you:
