What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using k6, Gatling, or JMeter.
- Build realistic workload models that accurately represent production traffic patterns.
- Execute various test types including load, stress, soak, spike, and scalability tests.
- Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and produce actionable recommendations for development teams.
- Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
- Leverage AI-assisted tooling for automated anomaly detection and intelligent baselining.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in performance testing or engineering.
- Proficiency in writing test scripts with k6, Gatling, or JMeter.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, or Groovy.
- Experience with application performance monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Ability to interpret test results, thread/heap dumps, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to testing such as AIOps or LLM-assisted diagnostics.
Nice to have
- Experience testing VoIP or real-time communication platforms.
- Knowledge of containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to chaos engineering practices.
- Experience with AI observability tools.
