What you will do

• Own security assurance execution across SOC 2 Type II, ISO standards, and other frameworks.
• Lead certification and audit-readiness planning for new sites, systems, and services.
• Define evidence standards and ensure audit defensibility across the organization.
• Manage external auditor engagements, including evidence submissions and walkthroughs.
• Partner with GRC Engineering to automate evidence collection and control monitoring.
• Translate technical controls into clear, defensible audit narratives for customers and auditors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security assurance, compliance, GRC, or external audit.
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001.
• Strong understanding of control design, operating effectiveness, and audit evidence.
• Ability to work directly with engineering, infrastructure, legal, and operations teams.
• Excellent written communication skills for audit narratives and executive updates.
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with HITRUST, NIST 800-53, or UK government security frameworks.
• Experience supporting AI infrastructure, bare-metal, or cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with GRC platforms like Drata, Vanta, or ServiceNow.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
