TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Milan, Italy (Hybrid: 2 days/week remote).

What you will do

  • Implement and monitor regulatory changes specific to the Italian market.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Italian regulatory bodies including Banca d’Italia and UIF.
  • Assess regulatory aspects of new products and business use cases.
  • Act as an escalation point for investigations conducted by Compliance Managers.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and accuracy of internal compliance documentation.
  • Assist in submitting regulatory documents under the supervision of the AMLRO.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance role within a financial institution or fintech.
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian banking regulations and the local payment ecosystem.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level).
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent writing skills.
  • Ability to work with high autonomy and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
