Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build high-quality software packages including installer metadata, detection logic, and automation scripts.
• Analyze vendor installers (MSI, EXE) to determine silent install parameters and upgrade behaviors.
• Develop endpoint-side scripts to download, install, and verify third-party applications.
• Define and maintain packaging standards to ensure consistency and security across the catalog.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues and resolve customer-impacting automation edge cases.
• Partner with Support and Engineering teams to respond to emerging vulnerabilities and vendor changes.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software development, scripting, or technical IT.
• Strong familiarity with Windows OS internals, including registry structure, file system permissions, and service management.
• Working knowledge of Git and experience with scripting or OOP languages.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants like Copilot or Claude.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice to have

• Hands-on PowerShell experience.
• Exposure to macOS packaging or Zsh scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines or unit testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with endpoint management platforms or VM-based validation workflows.
