What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues in complex electromechanical systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using 8D and FMEA tools.
• Analyze production and field data to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop and maintain KPIs and quality metrics dashboards to track program objectives.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality to leverage failure analysis findings for customer satisfaction.
• Support the improvement of technical documentation, including SOPs, drawings, and inspection plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of related experience (or 5 years with a Master’s degree).
• Expertise in quality tools: 8D, FMEA, 5Why Analysis, Fishbone/Ishikawa Diagrams, and SPC.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Somerset, NJ.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, Power BI, or Sigma Solutions.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.

Nice to have

• Experience in capital equipment manufacturing, specifically within the semiconductor industry.
• CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) certification.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP system (Quality and Service modules).
