What you will do

• Design and operate scalable Data & AI platform capabilities for analytics and Generative AI use cases.
• Develop reusable abstractions, templates, and workflows to standardize data pipeline management.
• Partner with Analytics, Applied-AI, and Data Engineering teams to support clinical decision-making.
• Evaluate and integrate modern data technologies with a focus on scalability and developer experience.
• Apply Generative AI to improve data enablement, documentation, and workflow automation.
• Promote software engineering best practices including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software or data engineering experience building scalable platforms.
• Hands-on experience with modern data architectures including data lakes, warehouses, and real-time processing.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Working knowledge of distributed computing and cloud-native technologies like Spark and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Practical experience using Generative AI tools to improve engineering workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow).
• Experience with NoSQL datastores (document, graph, or search-oriented systems).
• Experience with Generative AI application patterns like RAG or knowledge graphs.
• Background working with sensitive data in regulated environments like healthcare or fintech.
