What you will do

• Design and operate core infrastructure including cloud platforms, data pipelines, and observability systems.
• Architect scalable backend infrastructure using Python, FastAPI, Kafka, and Docker on GCP.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting blue/green and canary deployments for zero-downtime launches.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for global system health visibility.
• Create internal tooling for efficient data access across diverse geographic locations.
• Collaborate with backend, deep learning, and embedded teams to align infrastructure with product needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering.
• Proven production experience with GCP at scale.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker in production environments.
• Strong software development background in Python (not just scripting).
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Experience with Prometheus for metrics, alerting, and instrumentation.
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Operational knowledge and query tuning for MySQL.
• Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, or similar streaming platforms.
• Proficiency with CircleCI.
• Experience managing data-intensive applications and microservices at scale.
