What you will do

• Design and lead functional testing strategies across UI, API, and integration layers using Playwright.
• Execute performance testing strategies including load, stress, and endurance testing using k6, JMeter, and Artillery.
• Define and enforce test strategies, coverage models, and release readiness criteria for distributed systems.
• Conduct performance diagnostics using logs, metrics, and observability data to resolve system bottlenecks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable regression validation and performance gating.
• Mentor engineering teams on automation frameworks and performance engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Extensive experience in software quality engineering, system testing, or performance engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright or similar modern UI automation frameworks.
• Proven experience with performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, or Artillery.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, application architecture, and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting large-scale eCommerce or customer-facing digital platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Datadog, or OpenSearch.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and CI/CD integration (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Knowledge of HCL Commerce or headless architecture ecosystems.
