What you will do

• Develop and maintain E2E and component tests using Playwright, while managing the migration from existing Cypress suites.
• Implement and analyze K6 load and performance tests for high-traffic dispatch paths.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support a continuous-deployment environment.
• Utilize AI coding assistants like Claude and Copilot as the primary method for test creation, debugging, and investigation.
• Perform exploratory validation of new features and sign off on production deployment of hotfixes.
• Document and track defects in Jira with clear, reproducible reports including severity and impact.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software test automation (UI and API).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XPath.
• Solid grasp of SDLC and testing fundamentals (functional, regression, unit, and integration).
• Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants in a professional development or testing workflow.
• Working knowledge of Git and code-deployment concepts.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Playwright or K6.
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling such as TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of the Test Pyramid and Agile Test Quadrants.
• Experience testing complex, rendering-heavy user interfaces.
