What you will do

• Design and build dimensional data models using dbt in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and Airflow DAGs to centralize engineering operational metrics.
• Build self-service data products, including Django-based dashboards and AI-powered data exploration tools.
• Optimize data product performance through query optimization, caching, and pre-aggregated models.
• Implement data quality tests and monitoring to ensure accuracy across engineering metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure infrastructure adoption, AI ROI, and productivity.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in data engineering building and optimizing production pipelines.
• Proven proficiency in Python and SQL for complex ETL and application development.
• Hands-on experience with dbt for dimensional modeling and dependency management.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach to data quality, testing, and reliable system design.

Nice to have

• Data orchestration experience with Airflow.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Web development experience with Django or Flask.
• Experience with LLM/AI integration, such as building MCP servers or AI agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with engineering productivity metrics like DORA.
