What you will do
- Modernize a business-critical frontend application by reducing technical debt and refactoring legacy code.
- Establish and evolve frontend standards, including UI consistency, accessibility (WCAG), and code quality.
- Develop reusable component libraries and design system integrations to improve scalability.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver user-centered experiences.
- Drive modernization increments into production with a focus on technical direction and ownership.
- Integrate AI into daily workflows to improve efficiency and innovation.
Requirements
- Must be based in Germany.
- Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
- Several years of hands-on experience in frontend architecture and modernization.
- Strong proficiency in Vue, Nuxt, and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of testing practices (Unit and E2E) and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
Nice to have
- Practical experience with WCAG-oriented implementation.
- Experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
