What you will do

• Define and own the long-term technical strategy for iOS, ensuring alignment with wider architectural visions across mobile and web.
• Establish and evolve engineering standards, reusable patterns, and best practices to improve developer experience.
• Lead organization-wide technical modernization programs to simplify the engineering landscape and improve scalability.
• Partner with Principal Engineers and Architects to identify opportunities for shared cross-platform capabilities.
• Champion technical excellence through modular, testable, and maintainable software design.
• Mentor senior engineers and members of the Principal Engineering community.

Requirements

• Significant experience defining technical strategy for large-scale iOS platforms with a track record of lasting impact.
• Deep expertise in modern iOS development and designing modular, scalable, and reliable software.
• Proven ability to influence the adoption of technical patterns across a large organization.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for engaging stakeholders from engineers to executives.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office on a hybrid basis.
