Founding iOS Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in London, England, UK. Candidates based in San Francisco or fully remote may also be considered depending on fit. Work authorization in the UK or US is required. Visa transfers may be considered, but new visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $150,000 USD or approximately £75,000 GBP for the London office, plus meaningful equity.

What you will do

• Own the companion iOS app from architecture through deployment and ongoing iteration.
• Translate emotional-state outputs from AI inference models into intuitive, meaningful app interfaces.
• Build and ship a polished, consumer-grade mobile experience with high product and UX standards.
• Implement backend API integrations covering authentication, data synchronization, and data modelling.
• Make autonomous technical decisions as a founding engineer and help shape the product as the company scales.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.
• Proven experience shipping production-ready consumer iOS applications and owning mobile features from concept through release and maintenance.
• Strong full-stack capabilities, including backend API integration, authentication, data synchronization, and data modelling.
• Experience presenting machine learning or AI model outputs within mobile app UX.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and the ability to make autonomous technical decisions.
• UK or US work authorization is required; new visa sponsorship is not available.
