Flemish & Dutch Language Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Improve the language understanding module by providing high-quality sentence training examples.
• Update system prompts based on client requests.
• Manage and upload voice recordings.
• Extensively test conversational systems before go-live.
• Review customer calls and flag problematic conversations to the team.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Dialogue Designers to optimize conversational UX and call containment.

Requirements

• Native or fluent speaker of both Flemish (nl-BE) and standard Dutch (nl-NL).
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom for this contract role.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard for work quality.
• Strong communication skills for working within a diverse international team.
• Interest in natural language understanding (NLU) and conversational AI.

Nice to have

• Experience in natural language technologies, translation, or linguistics.
• Experience in data science or the tech industry.
• Previous experience working with startups.
• Familiarity with healthcare or appointment-booking contexts.
