What you will do

• Implement and maintain responsive UI systems, HUDs, and interactive menus to connect players to the game.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and artists to translate wireframes and visual concepts into functional interfaces.
• Develop and optimize reusable UI components and frameworks to streamline engineering workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve UI-related bugs, performance bottlenecks, and input-handling issues.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation to support a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional game development experience with a dedicated focus on UI.
• Strong experience developing user interfaces in Unreal Engine, specifically using UMG and Blueprints.
• Proficiency in C++ and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience managing complex UI states, input handling (gamepad, keyboard, mouse), and localized text systems.
• Familiarity with profiling tools to identify and fix UI-driven memory and performance issues.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping a multi-platform AAA title for Console and PC.
• Familiarity with motion design, materials, or shaders inside Unreal Engine.
• Passion for UI/UX design trends and gaming accessibility standards.
