What you will do

• Identify and prioritize critical assets requiring enhanced monitoring and protection.
• Analyze behavioral and technical indicators to detect misuse or mishandling of sensitive assets.
• Conduct complex insider threat investigations and correlate signals across identity, access, and behavioral data sources.
• Partner with detection engineering and security operations to refine insider threat detection logic.
• Develop early-warning frameworks and produce defensible analytical findings and case documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Privacy, and business stakeholders to align risk management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, insider threat, investigations, intelligence analysis, or data protection.
• 2+ years of experience working cross-functionally with security, HR, Legal, or Privacy stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), privileged access, and access governance.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, UEBA, DLP, and security analytics platforms.
• Experience analyzing logs, endpoint telemetry, and behavioral signals to identify anomalous activity.
• Ability to operate within highly regulated environments, such as financial services.

Nice to have

• Experience building or supporting an Insider Threat Program or Human Risk Management initiatives.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CDLP, GCFA, or GCIH.
• Degree in cybersecurity, intelligence studies, psychology, criminal justice, or information systems.
• Familiarity with cyber deception technologies and adversary engagement techniques.
