Information Security Specialist (Insider Threat) (Information Security/Fraud Detection): Defines and implements technology controls, information security policies, tools, and risk mitigation solutions with an accent on insider-threat and fraud detection. Focus on building and testing detection rules, analyzing security risks, supporting complex projects, and producing enterprise-level assessments and reporting.
Location: Hybrid onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina; Mount Laurel, New Jersey; or Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. Occasional domestic travel is required.
Salary: $98,160–$159,270 USD per year

What you will do
- Define, develop, and implement technology controls and information security policies, programs, and tools.
- Assess security risks, identify control gaps, and recommend solutions to protect the bank.
- Participate in complex, comprehensive, and large-scale projects and initiatives.
- Provide expert information security, technology controls, and risk guidance to project teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Prepare complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business-line, and enterprise levels.
- Build and test detection rules for fraud and insider-threat scenarios.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant information security experience.
- Expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines and practices.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Information security certification or accreditation is an asset.
- Experience with Python and SQL coding.
- Experience with fraud detection, Jira, and internal or external audit.
