What you will do

• Drive the technical roadmap for fullstack gaming initiatives to ensure scalable architecture.
• Lead live-ops efforts, including incident management, reliability improvements, and service maintenance.
• Design and deliver features by integrating Python/Django backend systems with Unity client requirements.
• Act as a technical multiplier by mentoring cross-functional teams and facilitating design discussions.
• Develop hands-on features while maintaining code quality across client and server codebases.
• Mitigate technical debt and operational bottlenecks to increase team velocity.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development in gaming or large-scale live-service apps.
• Deep expertise in backend engineering with Python and Django.
• Strong production experience with Unity (C#).
• Proven track record in designing scalable systems and managing live-service operations.
• Experience with AWS and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization).
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
