What you will do

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for vehicle charging and power systems.
• Integrate supplier sub-systems into the core software stack.
• Create comprehensive software requirements, design documentation, and test plans.
• Collaborate with vehicle, controls, and validation engineers to ensure system reliability.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development cycle from prototyping to validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience developing real-time embedded software for distributed electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++.
• Experience with embedded micro-controllers or microprocessors such as ARM or PowerPC.
• Understanding of sensors, actuators, and automotive communication protocols like CAN and LIN.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of control systems for electromechanical systems.
• Experience with CAN/LIN analysis and debugging tools like PCAN, CANalyzer, or CANape.
• Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and system debugging.
• Familiarity with high assurance development practices such as ISO-26262 and MISRA C/C++.
• Experience in Power Electronics and Battery Management.
