What you will do
- Profile and optimize GPU usage to maintain high performance.
- Collaborate with the Graphics Technical Director to define technical constraints and communicate possibilities to artists.
- Analyze 3D vision and assess the technical feasibility of requirements.
- Design, implement, and support new 3D systems and engine features throughout production.
- Identify and resolve 3D-related bugs reported by development and QA teams.
- Document systems and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing across disciplines.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of linear algebra applied to 3D programming and GPU architecture.
- Hands-on experience with low-level 3D APIs (DirectX or Vulkan) and shader languages.
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine (or similar game engine) and GPU profiling tools like RenderDoc or NVIDIA Nsight.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
