What you will do

• Design and support scalable data pipelines using GCP and BigQuery.
• Implement data ingestion and streaming patterns using Pub/Sub and Kafka.
• Develop orchestration and automation workflows for end-to-end data processing.
• Create curated datasets for Power BI reporting and AI use case enablement.
• Maintain engineering quality via structured testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Guide internal and external contributors on data engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on expertise in GCP-oriented data engineering and BigQuery.
• Experience with ETL/ELT design, orchestration, and messaging patterns (Pub/Sub, Kafka).
• Advanced SQL skills and programming proficiency in Python or Java.
• Knowledge of data modelling for analytical consumption and Power BI integration.
• Fluent English (C1) written and spoken.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI/GenAI use cases.
• Foundational AI literacy in classic ML and GenAI.
