What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable eCommerce solutions using Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce.
• Design and maintain custom Magento modules, extensions, and complex third-party integrations.
• Develop and optimize payment-processing integrations, specifically with Stripe and Stripe Connect.
• Manage Magento version upgrades, security patching, and remediation of deprecated functionality.
• Perform advanced debugging, profiling, and performance optimization across PHP execution, MySQL, and infrastructure layers.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, technical coaching, and pair programming.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional Magento development experience, with significant expertise in Magento 2.
• Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Redis/Valkey, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Demonstrated experience building complex custom Magento modules in production environments.
• Substantial experience developing payment modules and integrating financial-technology platforms.
• Experience operating and optimizing high-availability SaaS or eCommerce applications.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Adobe Commerce or Magento professional certification.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS requirements.
• Contributions to Magento Open Source or maintenance of public Magento-related projects.
