Salary: $17 to $35 per hour for candidates in CA, NY, WA, and CO.

What you will do

• Develop custom PHP and Laravel websites and web applications.
• Convert PSD designs into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with JSON responses and authentication.
• Integrate data across platforms including WordPress, Salesforce, QuickBooks, and ERP systems.
• Work within a LEMP development environment using Git/SVN version control.
• Resolve cross-browser compatibility issues and ensure clean, documented code.

Requirements

• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with Laravel, MVC architecture, and Eloquent ORM.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of SOLID principles and web security (SQLi, XSS, CSRF).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Availability to work 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Magento 1/2 or WordPress.
• Knowledge of Vue.js, React, or the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine, Livewire).
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
• Portfolio of live websites or web applications.
