What you will do
- Lead clinical and real-world evidence research projects from setup through to completion.
- Develop research protocols, ethics applications, governance submissions, SOPs, and operational processes.
- Manage and mentor research staff to maintain high standards of scientific and operational excellence.
- Oversee participant recruitment, data collection, quality assurance, and study compliance.
- Analyze and interpret research data to prepare reports, publications, and evidence summaries.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and academic partners to integrate research into clinical care.
Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Public Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience delivering clinical research within healthcare, academia, or life sciences.
- Experience leading research projects and managing research teams.
- Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), GDPR, and UK clinical research regulations.
- Understanding of UK healthcare systems, including NICE guidance and NHS structures.
- Must be based in the UK for a hybrid work arrangement.
Nice to have
- Experience within medical cannabis, chronic disease, pain management, or health economics.
- Experience with outcomes research or statistical software.
