What you will do
- Own the system and hardware architecture for embedded monitoring and industrial instrumentation products.
- Define system-level requirements, architectures, and technical strategies aligned with business and regulatory objectives.
- Drive trade-off decisions involving performance, reliability, cybersecurity, and manufacturability.
- Develop platform strategies to maximize technology reuse across multiple product families.
- Lead architecture and design reviews throughout the product lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence through standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering.
- Significant experience leading complex technical projects for embedded hardware products.
- Proven track record in defining system architectures from concept through production and lifecycle support.
- Strong knowledge of mixed-signal electronics, embedded processors, and industrial instrumentation.
- Expertise in systems engineering principles, including requirements management and technical risk management.
- Ability to influence and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with ARM-based systems, Linux platforms, and FPGA-based solutions.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as IEC 61850, DNP3, and Modbus.
- Experience with precision timing technologies (GPS, GNSS, PTP) and cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443).
- Familiarity with EMC compliance and electrical safety standards (CE, UL, IEC, IEEE).
- Understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and reliability engineering.
