What you will do
- Scale mobile app architecture to support growing user demand with a focus on quality and maintainability.
- Optimize the app release process to increase deployment frequency from bi-weekly to weekly.
- Own and evolve the UI design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms.
- Improve mobile navigation architecture and app accessibility in line with compliance standards.
- Develop reusable patterns and documentation to enable engineers across all domains to contribute to the mobile app.
- Implement in-app messaging and upsell infrastructure to drive merchant engagement and product activation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing mobile apps and web applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and React Native, and a deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and app release processes.
- Proficiency with native browser APIs, CSS, and REST API design.
- Proven track record of building scalable products using test-driven development (TDD).
- Must be based in Lisbon or Milan for hybrid work.
