What you will do

• Support all phases of space structure lifecycles, from conceptual design to structural testing.
• Perform first-order sizing calculations and evaluate satellite structure concepts.
• Conduct mechanical design trade studies balancing performance, risk, schedule, and cost.
• Manage mechanical work packages and maintain technical requirements and budgets.
• Define and execute test campaigns and analyze the resulting data.
• Collaborate with project teams, customers, and subcontractors throughout the full lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in space systems structural engineering and analysis.
• BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering or a relevant science/engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Experience in planning, executing, and evaluating environmental tests.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, C++, or VBA.
• Ability to provide technical leadership within a project team.

Nice to have

• Experience with NASTRAN for mechanical analysis.
• Knowledge of thermal analysis tools such as ESATAN-TMS.
